We had lived on our Narrowboat for many years and the arrival of our daughter made us realise that our current living space would no longer be sufficient.

Having considered our land based options, we decided that we would like to stay on the water at Cumberland basin next to Regents Park. And so, we set about designing a boat specific to our needs.

With only 42’x 6’10 space available, we knew we would have to make some radical changes to accommodate the three of us and to make a genuinely comfortable and practical space to live in.

Since the completion of No.38, we were approached and later commissioned to build two further boats.

Living on the water was born.
